The task of this project was to design a Microsite, for a topic of my own choosing. I chose to do my microsite on the Depression Epidemic facing the United States of America. In doing so, I chose to go with a less flashy design, and one that was instead more simple, and based on information, rather than unique and flashy elements.

The logo for the site is based on the symbol for depression and suicide awareness, the semi-colon. This is the symbol of depression because a semi-colon is used when an author can choose to end a sentence, but decides not to. Such is choice with a depressed individuals life. The sprout breaking out from the semi-colon represents new beginnings and growth.
